The Plight of a Player

Most institutions have sports programs to include Men's Basketball, which creates scholarship money ruite top notch players in exchange for eduction. But, are players really expected to abide by instittional academic performance standards? Athletics are profitable programs which in some cases are robbing student athletes, by maintaining athletics as a first priority and academics second. The simple act of student athlete dependency on lenient faculty and institution enabling of passive learning fails the student in student athlete.
